Young Spray - Rita Ora

Young Spray just dropped a brand new track called "Rita Ora". From the beginning of the song Young Spray says "I call her my Rita Ora" this refers to his girlfriend being precious and special to him on a personal level. In his first verse he says "I miss you mum, I ain't crying" this shows a deeper side to the song and shows the audience that Young Spray has tragically lost his mother. Just after this Young Spray mentions "after the rain comes the sunshine" this shows that Young Spray see's what happened to his mother as the 'rain' and only good things can happen after the rain has come (the sun). The audience also get a deeper look into Young Spray's past as he says "raised in the slums" showing that he was brought up in a very packed and tight area. In the video you can see people fencing, this could show that one of Young Spray's hobbies and something that he is passionate about is fencing.

The music that was produced by 'L.L.B' seems like it might begin slow and paced, but instead it starts off up-beat and faster paced with a more energetic rhythm to match along with the beginning chorus. The hi-hats in the background of the song make the beat seem more alive and easier to follow along with. During the first verse the melody seems quite fast paced but half way through it becomes slower paced and more calm as Young Spray starts to talk about his past. On the drop the drum and hi-hats make an insane rhythm to match with Young Spray's lyrics.

The music video that was filmed by 'GARGOYLE MEDIA' uses some very clever angles and use of very good slow motion with cutaway shots. There are also some very good close-up shots were you can see closely what Young Spray is saying and the emotion on his face. The handheld camera effect adds a more real and active feel to the music video. There are also some medium shots in the video that present Young Spray as a character of hierarchy.
