Rolla - Mo Salah (World Cup Edition)

Rolla has just dropped his brand new track called 'Mo Salah'. The track is clearly dedicated to the beautiful game and interprets some of Rolla's experiences too. In the first verse Rolla says "flash past like Salah on the run if I ever see feds" this is one of the lyrics that actually interprets football with a combination of Rolla's life, here he is referencing that if he ever comes across the Police then he won't be stopping, he won't even be caught because he is speeding past fast like Mo Salah. After this, Rolla mentions "I'll be in and out, I'm like Neymar on the left" referring that he will be as quick and silky as Neymar is on the pitch, it will be a quick in-out job and then he will be sliding out just like Neymar does on the field. Rolla later mentions "moving like I'm KDB, left foot, right foot in my locker" referring that he is able to emphasise both of his feet to his maximum potential and comparing himself to the Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne (who is known for his left and right feet to be lethal.) In the second verse, Rolla says "if the target's there then I'm Lacazette" referring to the forward French Arsenal player who very rarely misses an opportunity if he is able to get a clear shot on the goal. Rolla also later mentions "aiming for the top like Ronaldo" referring that he (similarly to Ronaldo) is aiming for the very top, number 1 and is heading that way, he won't stop until he gets there and is prepared to put in the work to become number 1.

The music starts off slow paced but slowly begins to build itself up until the chorus hits, where the bass hits hard and creates a much faster flowing rhythm. Behind the verse we can hear the sounds of hi-hats, drums, bass and sound effects that combine to create a unique and perfectly paced melody. During the second verse the speed remains fast paced and seems almost more powerful than the first verse, the hi-hats are used to create a faster paced in certain sequences so that the melody pace remains fast and keeps up with the lyrics. There is also some echo effects at some points which is a unique feature to help create anticipation for what's coming.
