Poundz - Best Life
Poundz has just dropped his brand new track called 'Best Life'. In the chorus of the track, Poundz says "I be out here grindin' till my bread's right" referring to us that Poundz won't stop putting the work in and grinding hard until he feels like he has the right amount of food for himself, he isn't at the point where he wants to be right now, so he must keep pushing until he is able to get to where he wants to be in the future. In the first verse, Poundz mentions "Summertime vibes, champagne, bare women, they don't wanna see me win, haters keep wishin" referring to us that during the summer, Poundz keeps poppin' the champagne and keeps loads of girls around him and as for the people who don't want to see him successful, they can't stop him, so they'll simply have to stick to wishing. Poundz also says "man chase p's, we don't chase no women" giving the audience an insight into Poundz's life, by telling us that Poundz only grinds and works for the money, he doesn't feel the need to chase around or put work in for girls. Poundz also says "We trynna pull up in a beemer and a benzie" referring to us that Poundz is trying to get a BMW and Mercedes for him to drive around in, he doesn't want to be seen in an old, dusty car, instead he wants a fresh looking German vehicle. Later in the verse, Poundz says "I'm dropping bangers, I ain't ever needed practice" telling us that Poundz has always had a 'gift' when it comes to dropping music tracks, he feels as though he has never needed any practice for rapping to a beat because it all comes natural to him and he was born with it. In the second verse, Poundz says "Still up in the gutter, gotta make it out the ends. I'm trynna make more p's, more money, less friends" referring to us that Poundz is still where he began, in his city and he is always trying to make it out of there and make a name for himself and travel, he also tell us that he feels that he doesn't need any more friends because he has all the people who he needs around him. He doesn't want to risk picking up any fake friends and is only after getting more money.

The music produced by 'automatikpro', 'poundz_100' & 'mrwondz' is up-beat and is a very catchy rhythm. The introduction to the music begins slower paced, but as the chorus hits, the bass speeds up the pace of the melody, the bass and sound effects form together to create a unique and incredibly sounding beat behind the lyrics. During the first verse, the energetic boost that is utilised during the initial chorus is calmed down and the pace feels slower and grants the lyrics hierarchy. However, the bass is still present and keeping the rhythm up-beat and bouncy.

The music video directed by 'RAZ' and captured by '- SP -' is a up-beat and a creative project, during the initial scene, the video is cut to the beat of the music to make the video feel faster-paced. The video also uses a RGB glitch effect on some of the drops making the video seem perfectly combined with the music and make the subject of the shot stand out. The video also features a wide variety of different shot types; slo-motion shots, medium shots, wide angle shots, low angle shots, tilting shots, panning shots and many more. The presence of these different shots being featured in the video, gives the audience a feel of creativity and diversity to the video.
