Mischief - Mbappe

Mischief has just dropped his brand new track called 'Mbappe'. Straight from the beginning in the first verse, Mischief says "couple losses and I made them all back" referring that he has not always been making profit and has lost money at some points, but he has managed to bring himself to make a profit from the losses even though he had lost money at the beginning. Also in the first verse Mischief mentions "Way before I did rap I did road, I was trynna shell clothes" this tells us that before Mischief had begun his professional rap career he was selling clothes for a living, and he has now become a professional rapper, showing the progression from where he was to where he is now. In Mischief's second verse he says "hands on beats before bills on creps" referring to before he purchases his shoes he is always getting his hands on the music beats that he can rap over first, so that he buy the shoes later when he has made income from the music. Mischief also says "My young boy gonna ball like NBA" referring to his son, will have the skills, mindset and the talent like he is part of an NBA team.

The music that was produced by 'producerzeph' starts off slow paced and well-built up to the chorus of the song. As the chorus hits, the bass and hi-hats also form together to build an intense mix up of the melody and creates a much faster and more energetic flow to the music. Throughout the track there is a xylophone sound effect that is used, at the beginning of the song, it is used as a solo instrument to create a slower and more paced entrance, but it also helps build up to the beat during verses. During the first verse, the rhythm is rapidly switched to a more upbeat pace with the use of the bass, drums and the hi-hats.

The music video that was created by 'atothekash' has a clear narrative from the begging to end, to help visualise the scenario. The music video includes a variety of different shots to show diversity and creativity, some examples include: drone shots, medium shots, wide angle shots and tilting shots. There is also the use of black fade transitions to soften the impact of a cut in some sequences of the video, to slow down the pace of the video and make it feel more smooth. The music video also features slo-motion cutaway shots which also help to visualise the life of Mischief to the audience through the music video and help tell the narrative of the video. The editing is very upbeat and the cuts are placed to make the video feel faster and add a more energetic flow to the video.
