Krept & Konan - Crepes And Cones (Ya Dun
Know) ft. MoStack
Krept & Konan celebrate the opening of their new business by dropping a new track called 'Crepes And Cones'. In the track Krept raps about 'Crepes And Cones' and talks about what is going on inside the new building as it opens "Who want a starter? Or you can double date with your girl". He also hints that he had once been working in a Food business before as he says "Who'd ever thought I'd move food again?"

Seconds into MoStacks verse he mentions "You'd be right here, eating well" this shows that MoStack supports Krept & Konan's new business and rates their food. MoStack also lets us know that he is on top of the game right now and is killing it with his music "You can tell by my plate I'm winning".

Throughout the music video you can see the new business and the food that is being served there. The interior looks very modern mixed with an urban theme. This creates the perfect place for artists and music producers to meet up and discuss future projects.

As Konan begins his verse he says "Shout me if you're passing through" showing that he is open to the public and openly invites anyone to come down into his new business and try something. Konan also mentions "You can get ice cream, it's gelato. Or a salad but you don't avocado" this hints towards their menu showing they also feature salad aswell as deserts and slushi's.

All together the music video has a very positive vibe that shows off how good the new business looks. Towards the end of the video we can also see Professional rapper Santan Dave, showing that yet another rapper is supporting their new movement to business.

The music that was produced by Steel Banglez has a solid flow and creates a bouncy energy on the drops. You can really feel the music and energy during MoStack's verse, whereas during Konan's verse the music seems more chilled and calm.

The visuals were captured by 'KAYLUM' and uses clear effects that match the music, for example the black flickers on the hi-hats. The colour grading also looks perfectly matched to the lighting of the interior. The speed ramps that are used are perfectly timed to the action and performance.

At the beginning of the music video we see that Krept & Konan have recently lost a close friend called 'Nash Chagonda'. Krept mentions how torn apart he is on his instagram saying "Years of brotherhood. Id do anything in my power to bring you back bro I'm just so lost for words. I feel like this ain't even real". Konan also mentions on his instagram "You've had us all crying our eyes out my bro none of this even makes sense to me."
