JOJO - My Queen

JOJO has just dropped his brand new track called 'My Queen', the track is dedicated to JOJO and his current situation with girls. In the first verse, JOJO says "she ain't even true to her religion, so what makes you think she could be too me?" referring to us that the girl that is "dressed like Alexander" does not follow the rules of her religion / wants to convert from the religion, this makes JOJO think if she isn't able to stay loyal to her religion, would you be able to stay loyal to him? In the same verse, JOJO later follows up by mentioning "see she wanna turn me to a loose screw" referring to us that this girl is making JOJO turn crazy by what she does and how she acts, JOJO simply gets confused and cannot keep up sometimes (which is fair enough). JOJO then says "They see JOJO on the YouTube with the few views, who knew, girls on my left and right will move loose" telling us that the girls around JOJO are not showing any signs of true loyalty and passion, JOJO is able to see that the girls that are around him are only there because he has been getting views on his tracks and not because they genuinely want to be around him, they may act kind and flirty but that is all an act because they want to get in on the "fame" that JOJO has recently been gaining. In the second verse, JOJO says "Alexander, she had me moving looku, I think she placed a spell on JOJO" referring to us that JOJO is still confused as to how this girl, Alexander, made JOJO feel the way he did, he felt so differently that he believed that Alexander had actually done something to him.

The music produced by "JROCS PRODUCTIONS" is incredibly upbeat throughout the duration of the track, the melody gets instantly stuck in your head after listening to the track for 2x times. The bass and the sequence of the hi-hats that are used in a cycle create a bouncy rhythm which lies perfectly underneath the lyrics. The sound effect that is used throughout the soundtrack, is a unique sound that combines perfectly with the bass and hi-hats to make the melody and pace sound much more appealing. At 0:27 we hear another sound effect that creates a diverse sequence in the rhythm, leading the audience into believing their could be more sequences of sound effects and more melody-changes (the use of anticipation for the audience). All-together the track forms together to create a fun and bouncy type of vibe which is rare in rap tracks, the end product is a diverse and creative soundtrack with a very catchy rhythm.

The music video directed by 'kaylumdennis' works perfectly with the vibe of the soundtrack, the idea of shooting a music video in an arcade with this genre of music works perfectly and engages the audience into a energetic-themed track. The lighting throughout the music video looks perfect, even though the video was shot in the arcade where lighting can be disastrous, the lighting looks amazing on the video, showing that the director has took into serious consideration the lighting and has worked with what equipment he has to make the lighting look as good as possible. The video also uses a variety of different shots; medium shots, wide angle shots, tilting shots, hand-held camera shots and many more, showing diversity throughout the video.
