Cadet - Meek Mill

Cadet dropped a brand new track called "Meek Mill" the song seems dedicated to the professional rapper Meek Mills and his journey to the top of his game and shows passion about what Meek Mills says and how they have affected him. Cadet starts off the song by saying "You know that hood shit give me that deep thrill" this refers to some of Meek Mills old videos where he raps with his hood members around him, Cadet shows that he enjoyed watching this and found it "thrilling". Cadet mentions in his first verse "look man I still live where I came up" this shows a reference to Cadet living in the same country and the same city as he has been living in ever since he first became publicly known in the music industry. Cadet also says "all the boy wanted was some Puma's, now my nigga get it free, I get it free" this shows a huge progression since Cadet first began music as he now gets trainers for free whereas before he began he was always wanting them.

The music that was produced by @mrwondz and @officialtryp  is sensational. At first the beat begins slow and paced, but the beat cleverly slowly builds itself up and at the chorus of the song it is like a completely different music producer steps in and makes an insane mix of instruments together to form a sick chorus rhythm and after the first chorus the beat seems more upbeat and faster paced.

The music video that was directed by 'TEEEEZY C' includes some genius shots and camera movements. The close up shots of the Rolex's and the motorbike cutaways are perfect for the lyrics to the song and the shots of Cadet where the camera has a low-angle shot are insane and make the audience see Cadet in a whole new perspective.

The song was originally written by 'Underrated Legend' and the lyrics show passion to Meek Mills journey from the bottom to where he is now and shows how the journey has affected him as a person. The lyrics are the work of a genius and show that a lot of time and effort has been put into them.
