Big Jest - Mo Salah

Big Jest has just dropped his brand new track called "Mo Salah" the song shows Big Jest's journey and how he has came from nothing to something that he compares to Mo Salah scoring a goal. In Big Jest's first verse he says "I'm from a city where they'll bun man" this refers to where Big Jest was raised, the city that he grew up in contained people who would have killed you. Big Jest also says just afterwards "hella trappers, hella gunmen" showing that where he was raised people would be moving drugs and using guns, telling us that the city where he was raised must have been a violent and scary place to grow up in. In Big Jest's second verse he mentions "you wouldn't get it, you're not real enough" this shows that Big Jest believes only the people who are making big money and have the same mindset as him would understand what he is talking about. Big Jest also says "she wasn't with me for the whole come-up" showing that Big Jest's and his girlfriend have not always been together, not when Big Jest was first beginning out. However, Big Jest knows that he hasn't been perfect throughout his journey and says "made some losses in the field" showing us that he is aware he has not always made money from certain situations and could have handled them better.

The music that was produced by '_zcbeats' is unique to any other track you have ever heard. The beat is constantly up-beat and gives off a powerful energy. The drums and the hi-hats mix to make an amazing combination of instruments and make the chorus of the song seem so much more paced. During the first verse the rhythm seems more calm and slowed down with the drums being more paced and being the hierarchy instrument. During the second verse there are more use of effects to make a unique mix with the instruments and make the lyrics seem more fast paced.

The visuals that were filmed and edited by 'DENCHFILMS' have a upbeat feel to it, the shots included in the video were steady and sharp cuts, showing off a professional look to the video. There are also some perfectly placed cutaways of slo-motion clips of the Liverpool stadium which show the audience a storyline to the music. There are also some shots were the camera is purposely shook to show a energetic movement with Big Jest. At the end of the music video there are more cutaway shots which show us the locations that were filmed in.
