Bellzey - Stay To My Own
Bellzey has just dropped a brand new track called 'Stay To My Own' the tune seems to have a more deeper and real type of feel to it unlike other Rap songs. In the beginning of the song, Bellzey says "I'm here for my dawg, cuz it's 27 years that he is facing alone" this could refer to one of Bellzey's close friends being sentenced to a 27 year prison sentence. Bellzey also mentions "Got me dealing with the pain on my own" this could show that Bellzey feels like he has no-one to talk to about what he is feeling right now (about his friend being taken away from him for 27 years.) In Bellzey's first verse he mentions "never let a next man think for you" this one line has a very deep meaning, in Bellzey's song he could be referring it to never let anyone do your thinking for you, as they will likely get it wrong, you are the only one who can think for yourself because only you know what you are feeling. Bellzey also says "They wanna talk about your losses but they don't wanna talk about your wins for you." This could show that people around you are always quick to shout about your mistakes but never shout your victories like you would expect them too. Bellzey continues the 'real' feel to the song by saying "Niggas say they love you but, really they just got it in for you" this shows that Bellzey has experienced people saying they would stand by him, but when the time came that he needed them the most, they failed to show for him. The song all together certainly has a darker and deeper meaning than what you might just hear. One of the most hard-hitting lyrics in the song is when Bellzey says "I see bare fake smiles, real ones when I pick my son up" this shows that the only smiles that are actually real smiles and not fake are from his son and the people that are glad to seem him spending time with his son.

The music that was produced by 'MYI' is completely different to anything you have ever heard, the piano shows a strong presence during the first verse, this makes the rhythm sound more gentle and calm. The hi-hats compliment the beat drops and piano and make the melody faster-paced and more energetic. There are some parts of the song where the piano is the primary sound and it makes these moments feel more real and deeper. There are a great amount of sound effects used in the song that make the beat drops and chorus sound much more fluent.

The music video that was directed by 'SPEDZ', edited by 'ALI' and the visual effects that were put in place by 'SMTVENT' include some amazing shots. There is a clear storyline to the video and the cuts are placed perfectly to show fast, paced movement from one shot to the next. There is use of medium and wide shots to show different perspectives of Bellzey. The slo-motion is used perfectly to show more precision and timing to certain clips. The drone shots are spectacular, they show off the beach in a whole new view. The strobe effect is placed perfectly, on-beat and makes the clip faster paced.
