Bellzey - Drifting
Bellzey has just dropped his brand new track called 'Drifting'. The track is dedicated to Bellzey's journey, what he has been through and how he is feeling right now after everything has happened. In the first verse, Bellzey says "n*ggas done snaked me, n*ggas that I brought into my house" giving the audience an insight that the people that Bellzey has brought into his own house and trusted, have gone and stabbed him in the back and didn't think twice about doing it either. Bellzey then says "You've always been a star in the making, even though your life is hard it is changing" referring to us that people have always told Bellzey that he is upcoming, and that he has talent and has the potential to rise to the top someday, and he is currently on his journey from the bottom up to the top, and lets us know that all though he hasn't had an easy life and it has been a very hard and long journey from Bellzey, there is light at the end of the tunnel and it is time for things to start changing (and for the better too). Later in the verse Bellzey mentions "I remember chilling in the park, shots starting popping off" "it was just another n*gga in a mask tryna put another n*gga in a morgue" giving us the insight that before, Bellzey was just chilling in a park and out of nowhere, suddenly he heard gunshots and he realised that it was all happening for the same reason it always happens for, just another person trying to kill someone else. Later in the track, Bellzey says "They say life's like a race, they don't see the pain, they just see the smile on my face" referring to the audience that with Bellzey the people around him never see the pain that he goes through, only the smile and the brave face that he puts on for them, no-one is able to see the pain because Bellzey only shows it to himself, so no-one can take advantage of it.

The music produced by 'jc.beatss' begins with a fade in to soften the impact of the fast-flowing melody straight from the get-go. During the introduction phase, the vocals, the sound effects and instruments are building up with anticipation until the first verse drops. As soon as the verse drops, the bass becomes very present and the melody takes a turn down a more energetic and bouncy route, throughout the first verse the sound effects remain present and the bass is also used throughout all of the verse too. The bass, sound effects and hi-hats combine together to create a unique rhythm and an incredible beat for the background of the lyrics. If you listen closely and image the beat without the sound effects you realise it would sound like a typical rap music beat, but with the unique sound effect sequence used throughout the track the beat becomes much more hard-hitting and easier to vibe too.

The music video directed by 'OLU' clearly gives the audience an insight into Bellzey's life for 5 minutes, the narrative is a deep and unfortunate story that makes the audience feel involved and emotionally attached. The video features a wide variety of different shots and angles to show the audience different perspectives; wide-angle shots, medium shots, tilting shots, panning shots, slo-motion cutaway shots, hand-held shots, establishing shots and many more, the presence of these different shots creates a sense of diversity and creativity amongst other music videos that only use a certain range of different shot types.
